It is highly hydrophobic, beading water even at low speeds, making your driving safer and requiring fewer wiper blades. G5-coated glass stays cleaner longer and contaminants such as insects, bird droppings and ice are easier to remove. Note: G5 offers maximum repellency, but is less durable than our G1 ClearVision Smart Glass.

How do I use Gtechniq G5 Water Repellent Coating For Glass And Perspex?

1. Clean the glass thoroughly with Perfect Glass glass cleaner and polish the surface with Nanotech Glass Polish in advance if necessary.
2. Degrease the glass with Panel Wipe and a microfiber cloth.
3. Open the Water Repellent Coating and moisten the applicator with 10-15 drops.
4. Rub the coating evenly in circular motions over the glass with light pressure.
5. Let it dry for 15 minutes.
6. For longer protection, apply multiple coats with 15 minutes drying time between each coat.
7. After the final coat, wipe off the excess product with a microfiber cloth and, if desired, use a glass cleaner such as Perfect Glass.
