Carbon Collective Nero:

Nero Self-Healing Ceramic Coating, reinforced with diamond particles, is ideal for PPF, vinyl wraps and painted paint finishes, thanks to its flexible properties that allow it to repair itself. As a stand-alone coating, Nero provides up to 5 years of protection against chemical aggressors, bird droppings, harmful UV rays and minor scratches. When combined with Molecule as a base coat, this synergy can extend protection up to 7 years. The high concentration of diamond particles not only ensures maximum gloss and protection, but also stimulates the self-repair process, keeping your paint in pristine condition for longer.

How do I use Carbon Collective Nero?

• Apply the coating to a prepared, clayed and polished surface for optimum adhesion.
• Before applying the coating, degrease the car twice with Panel Prep Cleanser, so that the pores are cleaned and the coating can adhere properly.
• Wear nitrile gloves and a ventilation mask.
• Moisten the coating applicator with 8-10 drops.
• Apply in overlapping horizontal and vertical strokes, up to 30 x 30 cm at a time. If necessary, re-moisten the applicator with a few drops of coating.
• Allow to evaporate for up to 6-8 minutes; remove excess product within this time.
• Remove excess product with 3-4 coating cloths and rub thoroughly for proper application.
• When applying a second coat, use a new coating applicator and 3-4 new cloths.
• For a guaranteed lifespan of 5 years, we recommend applying a second application coat.
• Simply follow the same steps as described earlier.
• When the application is complete check carefully with an inspection lamp to work out any highspots.
• Allow the coating to cure for 8 hours or speed up the process with an infrared lamp for 10 minutes before exposing it to the elements.
• After application, leave the car untouched in terms of physical cleaning for the next 2 weeks so that the coating has sufficient time to fully cure.
• Bring Carbon Collective Special to every three washes to preserve the coating and extend its life.

Warnings:

• Avoid application in direct sunlight or on warm surfaces.
• Use suede applicators once and throw them away after use.
• Do not reuse the microfiber cloths you used to remove the coating.
• Wear nitrile gloves while applying the coating.
• Wear respiratory protection, such as a mouth mask.
• Always consult the documentation provided first.
