How do I use Diamond Protech Bike Kit?

Step 1: Preparation

• Make sure your bike is clean and dry.
• Polishing the surface beforehand ensures better adhesion.
• Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures during application.
• Wear the nitrile gloves provided.
• Degrease the bike and all components with Diamond Bike Prep (100 ml) along with microfiber cloth.

Step 2: Application

• Shake the product vigorously for 15 seconds before use with the built-in shake beads (making noise is normal).
• Apply a small amount of Diamond Bike (20 ml) to the applicator.
• Spread the coating evenly over a small area of the bicycle frame.

Step 3: Curing

• Allow the coating to cure for 1-3 minutes and then rub on.

Step 4: Remove excess product

• Use several new microfiber cloths to remove excess coating.

Step 5: Repeat procedure

• Repeat this procedure until the entire bike is completely coated and discard all used applicator and coating cloths.
• Coated cloths crystallize over time and may cause damage when reused. Despite immediate washing, we recommend throwing them away in the trash.

Step 6: Prevent moisture

• Avoid contact with water during the curing time, usually for the first 12-24 hours.

Step 7: Maintenance

• Enjoy long-lasting protection.
• Maintenance with pH-neutral products is recommended for optimal results.

Warnings:

• IMPORTANT: Diamond Protech products are specifically formulated to be used only in conjunction with the brand's degreaser.
• Apply the coating only in an enclosed area at a temperature between 10 and 30°C, with humidity not exceeding 70%
• Avoid application in direct sunlight or on warm surfaces.
• Use applicators once and throw them away after use.
• Do not reuse the microfiber cloths you used to remove the coating.
• Wear nitrile gloves while applying the coating.
• Wear respiratory protection, such as a mouth mask.
