Discover the Carbon Collective Clay Block, your ultimate solution for silky smooth, shiny car paint. If you've ever experienced rough spots on your vehicle that won't disappear even after a thorough cleaning, it's time to clay. This clay block is designed to effectively remove contaminants that penetrate deep into the clear coat and can cause potential damage.

Before use, make sure the vehicle has been thoroughly washed to ensure a clean surface. The claying process requires lubrication to minimize any damage, and for that, Carbon Collective Ultimus is the perfect choice. Fill a bucket with clean water and Carbon Collective Lusso for optimal results.

How do I use Carbon Collective Clay Block?

  1. If the car is still dirty, first give it a wash with a pH-neutral shampoo, such as Carbon Collective Lusso.
  2. It is always recommended that prior Carbon Collective React as it already removes a lot of brake dust and contaminants.
  3. When the car is clean, foam the surface again with Ultimus Snowfoam.
  4. Take the Clay Block firmly in your hand.
  5. Gently rub the surface in straight lines to remove tree sap and other contaminants.
  6. Periodically immerse the clay block in a bucket of Lusso to keep it moist during this cleaning process.
  7. Once the car is fully clayed, you should wash it again using the familiar two-emmer method.
  8. After this, dry the car via a microfiber drying towel and/or dry blower.
  9. After cleaning and drying the car, you can perform a paint inspection and then apply a wax, sealant or other protective coating.
  10. Inspect the car with proper detailing lighting.
  11. If many swirls and rubbing scratches have occurred from using the clay pad due to severe contamination, polishing the surface is recommended.
