Menzerna Marine Gelcoat Liquid Sanding is the solution for self-polishing gelcoats on boats and caravans. This easy-to-use polishing paste removes sanding scratches between 800 and 1200 grit, and is ideal for repairs. With its liquid sanding grains, it produces no dust or dirt, making mouth protection unnecessary. The result? A homogeneous, matte surface, perfect for further polishing steps. Suitable for both rotary and random orbital polishers, and can even be used manually. Achieve best results with a lambswool polishing pad, hard/medium foam pad or sanding fleece hand pad/Scruff Ball. With a speed of 3000-4000 rpm and a capacity of 1 liter, this paste is the ultimate choice for professional results.

How to use Menzerna Marine Liquid Sanding:

1. Check the size: Select the correct diameter of the pad that corresponds to your polisher and attach it to the polishing wheel.
2. Polishing application: apply Menzerna Gelcoat One Step Polish to a Menzerna Woolpad, Red Heavy Cut Pad or Yellow Medium Cut Pad. Make sure the polish is evenly distributed over the surface of the pad.
3. Polish: Place the pad on the surface to be polished and turn on the polisher. Work in overlapping motions and apply enough pressure to achieve the desired results.
4. Check the progress: Check regularly to see if the desired defects have been removed and the paint is in good condition.
5. Inspection: Check the result and remove any excess product with a soft polishing cloth. Also, make sure you have correct lighting during the inspection.
6. Finishing: Remove polishing residue and, if necessary, protect the surface with a wax or ceramic coating.

Warnings:

• We recommend performing multiple polishing steps to achieve the desired finish before applying a wax or ceramic coating.
• When using rotary polishers, it is important to pay close attention to the heat build-up on the surface. If you do a lot of correction work in a specific place, it is wise to take regular breaks to allow the panel to cool down.
